AS A THIRD GENERATION TEXAS LAWYER, Channing Neary has learned what it takes to be a leader in her field. You have to be an expert. Knowing the law inside and out leads to the strongest defense. You also have to have compassion. Clients come first, because their lives are at stake, and nothing trumps that. But most importantly, you have to work hard. Repeated success comes from treating everyone who walks into her office with respect, compassion and a willingness to help.
Channing is a native Texan who worked her way through the University of Denver Sturm College of Law selling custom boots. Also, she worked for three years as one of a select group of students trying cases for the Denver District Attorney's Office under the Colorado Student Practice Act. Since then, she has experienced both sides of the criminal justice system by working as a prosecutor at the Travis County Attorney's Office, then joining Joe Turner's team for seven years as a criminal defense lawyer. Independence, ambition and a love for people have driven her to rise to a position where she can truly help those in need of legal aid.
The past ten years have been marked by relieved clients and acknowledgement as a Rising Star in 2008, 2010 and 2016 by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers. Channing is most recently enjoying a private practice that fosters a more intimate relationship with clients in order to better suit their specific legal needs.
